With the cool autumn breeze and the anticipation of Thanksgiving just around the corner, it’s hard not to feel that special warmth in the air. It’s the season of gratitude, and while we all cherish the memories made around the dinner table, it’s also a perfect time to remember the ‘giving’ part of Thanksgiving.

At ICS, we’ve always felt that this season is about more than just counting our blessings – it’s about sharing them too. So, as we prepare for the holiday festivities, let’s also explore how giving back has made all the difference in our journey.

Our approach to giving is about forming lasting bonds, fostering engagement, and creating ripples of positive change. Everyone at ICS brings their unique touch to philanthropy, be it through participating in fundraisers, volunteering time, or supporting charity events. A Tapestry of Volunteer Efforts

Volunteering is at the heart of ICS’s philanthropic journey. Our hands have prepared and served countless meals at local shelters, offering not just nourishment but also a message of solidarity to those facing homelessness. During the holiday season we work with the same organization assembling care packages filled with essentials — shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand warmers, socks, and gloves. The heartfelt “thank you”s we have received after these volunteer events have been truly touching.

We’ve also crafted tie blankets for an organization dedicated to assisting children with a wide range of developmental delays, disabilities, injuries, and other special healthcare needs. These blankets provide warmth and comfort to these little ones during their multiple stays at the facility.

Our hands don’t just craft; they clean and maintain the grounds of organizations dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities. This isn’t just about upkeep — it’s about ensuring these spaces remain welcoming and accessible to those who rely on their services.
