Milestone Moment: ICS Property Casualty Captives Reach 1,000 Members

This July marked a significant milestone for ICS Casualty captives as we welcomed our 1,000th member company. This achievement underscores the growing importance and success of captives in the insurance industry, and we couldn’t be prouder of the progress we’ve made.

A Journey of Growth and Innovation

From 1999 to 2019, ICS added 500 shareholders into our member-owned group captives. This period was marked by innovation and a relentless commitment to providing the best captive experience to the shareholders. Two decades ago, captives were a relatively unknown concept, often viewed with skepticism. However, through a commitment to our dedicated broker network, we’ve been able to demonstrate that group captives are not only viable but often the best and safest option for managing risk.

In just the past five years, we’ve added an additional 500 members. This rapid growth is a testament to the increasing demand in the marketplace and the continued stability that captives provide. During this time, we have started five new captives, expanding our capabilities into new industries, and giving our broker partners more opportunities to collaborate with ICS.
